Blue Sage in Hamilton

Food was good. Waitress was fantastic. But, the FLIES in the dining area were horrendous! I'm embarrassed to say that I ate the food. I can't imagine what the FLIES were doing in the kitchen to plates on the prep table. I won't return.

This place is a hidden gem in the little town of Hamilton, but you would think you are in a big city when you eat their gorgeous food! We've been several times and everything we get is sooo good. I highly recommend!

Prices fair. Atmosphere pleasant. Clean. Perfect option if you don't want fast-food.

Go here, do yourself and your tastebuds a favor. The food is so delicious and the staff are quick and kind. Also, the downtown area of Hamilton is cute and friendly.

Nice! Drove from KC and arrived at 6:30 pm and closed!!! Your web site says open until 9:00pm on Thursday, states it’s still open? Never again

Clearly the place to dine while in Hamilton. Staff was friendly and helpful, and it was obvious that they loved the restaurant and the chef. The food was wonderful and the vanilla lemonade divine. We will certainly visit Blue Sage again when we're back in the area.

Outstanding service and really good food. Reasonably priced for the portions and presentation. It's wonderful to have such a wonderful place so near our weekend getaway cabin. We'll be back!!

Phenomenal food, I have been skeptical hearing about high prices. Recently I had the chicken Alfredo , I payed 16$ (I think?) and the portion was perfect to fill me up. The chicken was GREAT and as was the noodles with the sauce. I would definitely recommend eating at this welcoming and loving restaurant.

My daughters and I meet here frequently for lunch. The menu is refreshing and the meal is prompt and delicious! Crystal is an amazing server and we adore her! Worth a drive and a few extra dollars for the food and the atmosphere.

Nice place, wonderful food

We stayed in Hamilton for the weekend to do some shopping at MSQC. We ate here two nights in a row, it was that delicious! The chicken pot pie is the best I have EVER had, and the people I was traveling with got the coconut salad and said it was to die for. We will be returning, for sure!

Lunch was very good. Don't get the cheesecake to go. It was moldy by the next day and one of our members got really sick when she ate it. Unfortunate.

This was an amazing restaurant. The food was excellent. It tastes like farm to table. I loved it.

Lobster dip, Beef Stroganoff, Chicken pot pie. EVERYTHING was on par with the best of anything KC has to offer, and for half the price I'd expect to pay in the city. I've had worse meals that cost double in the Crossroads. If you're in KC, make the drive. If you're already close, where else could you possibly dine this well without driving all the way to KC?

Loved it! Great food! Great service and atmosphere! We enjoyed the artichoke lobster dip with the Blue Sage pot pie and Chicken Alfredo! We will be back again!

It's not that the $20 dollar beef stroganoff was bad. I would think you would get a salad or something with it. Atmosphere was nice.

Stopped at this restaurant while driving across Missouri. Really WONDERFUL food, beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. Excellent service. Really, I can't say enough about how good this place was! A real gem in Hamilton, MO!

First let me say the food is amazing! It may be an unusual occurrence, but while we were visiting Hamilton there was not enough Managment in Blue Sage. We went after rush hour and waited 20 minutes to see a hostess. Then another 15 minutes to be seated. This was frustrating as there were only 8 tables with diners. If you have the time to wait and don’t expect too much in the area of customer service, the food, as I said, is amazing. I highly recommended the Pork Schnitzel!

Tried the pot pie for the first time and was not disappointed. Try their special lemonades.

I went there with my daughters the server was exceptionaly professional very nice attentive and the food was like wearing in little Italy fresh homemade and very unique if you ever are in this side of town you have to come here .they chose the right waiters to serve the right things to serve and the right chef to cook👏👏👏👍👍

I have eaten here three times so far and love it. Everything I have eaten here has been excellent. I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants all over the world and this one ranks as one of my favorites. The brazed pork shank is very unique and very good. The sausage sandwich has a unique sweetness that I love and the lamburger is very flavorful. Everything is always properly cooked and well presented. Don't let the fact that this restaurant is located in rural Missouri fool you, this restaurant could be in a high end district in a major city and still be just as impressive.

The food gets a 5 star rating! The food is great. They change the menu a little bit to much but the food is always good. Now I gave a 1 star rating due to the service. Theres been times where we made reservations and they never wrote us down at all. So They put us in a wobbly corner table. Then one time we stood there for 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us so we just walked out. There's been times where we will have empty drinks for a while and our server is nowhere to be found. The food is amazing, decor amazing. The tables are a little small though and the service is lacking.

You have to try the Berry Vanilla Salad. I was a bit skeptical when I read the description grilled chicken, strawberries, almonds on a bed of lettuce with vanilla, cinnamon dressing. It's absolutely delicious!!!

Fantastic atmosphere, beautifully decorated, clean, and one of a kind. I had the salmon with fingerling potatoes which was flawless. Loved it so much I ordered the banana cream pie for dessert which was a steal for $5. I would definitely bring a date to blue sage or the whole family for something nice and great priced.

What a great place to eat! Wonderful selection of incredibly chef prepared cuisines! Everything on the menu is amazing!

While traveling through town, we stopped in to eat and immediately felt SO under dressed! With my hair in a bun, muddy boots, and my six month old in tow I felt embarrassed, but quickly forgot all about that with the amazing service I received! The cranberry avocado chicken sandwich was amazing, and the waitress even accommodated my son by bringing us a small bowl of of ice cream and going out of her way to find a little spoon! The only negative thing I have to say is that the potato chips were overcooked, and the guests I was visiting with said their tenderloin wasn't appealing. But that is the only problem I had with this lovely little place. Such a nice waitress, I wish I had gotten her name to say thank you.

I had the chicken fried steak meal. It was really good. Service was great. Atmosphere was interesting.
